This is where it all started for me but times change and now all of my blogging takes place over at my

working wednesday

I have been playing with a few more small stitched seascapes.

Trying to decide if I like a dark border...

...or a light border.

I have also been experimenting with some different fabric borders. This one using the sewing machine...

...this one using the needle felter/embellisher.

Still not sure where I am going with these.......more photos here.

  4. Beautiful!! I love the first one, with the dark border, and also the last one with the seaguls....but they're all lovely! I think all of the borders are effective, perhaps decide what suits each one based on its colours etc? :-)

  7. The colours in all of them are wonderful. It's the texture of the rocks and felting and detail in the last one that makes it come alive for me.

  9. They are all wonderful! I am especially taken with the one with the light border and also with the last one. Everytime I see something someone created with an embellisher, it makes me want one to play with myself.

  14. These are amazing. I'm partial to blues, so I love the clouded sky images in your flickr stream.

How are you doing the stitching, by hand or on your machine? I ask because I embroider too, and I can't figure out how you get some of your effects!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I do try to respond to each one but
if you do not hear from me it is probably because you are a "no reply blogger".
