New work

I've decided it was time to work on a proper Art Quilt, and naturally I have started with hand painted fabric.
After piecing it together I cut out some stencils from freezer paper

-and stencilled using gold fabric paint.

I have never used this method before, but I am very happy with the results.

    This is lovely work! The color is smashing and the gold compliments it so perfectly! I can't wait to see the next steps...
