This is where it all started for me but times change and now all of my blogging takes place over at my
Quilt Routes blog and I hope you will join me over there.

"Daisy, Daisy...

...give me your answer do..."*

To the question; "When are you going to be finished?"  maybe?
I am still enjoying the stitching, even if it is taking and age. I am trying to keep the stitches uniform but I have deliberately made them smaller as I changed colour.
It is hard to keep small stitches small, don't you find? Or is that just me?

Here is what it looked like before I began stitching.

sketchbook sunday

I have a mind to make this a regular feature.
Alternate it with "stitching sunday".
Not that I am going to commit myself to doing this every Sunday you understand.
Just when the mood takes me.
These pages have been worked on mop-up tissue paper pages, and have been done over a period of time.
I find it very calming and therapeutic to just play, with no particular end in mind.
Some might become painted fabric pieces, some might be backgrounds for further work.
These pages will be stitched into signatures and put into a sketchbook/journal of sorts and it is nice to have a record of them here.

Just because....

I am not ready to let go yet... and I can keep this here to always remind me:)

Still Time!

A busy summer has meant that I had forgotten about this.
Reading Mrs Moen just now has reminded me.

I think I will send this one.
There is still time to send something if you would like to have your work displayed in this exhibition.
(deadline is September 28th)
You can have the flags returned to you if you include a stamped addressed envelope, but as I have not worked out how you do that when something is going overseas I think I will just send this off and hope that it goes to a good home once the exhibition is over.
More details can be found here.
I'm off to the post office:)
