Afrernoon Delight!

Ann

I finally had a chance this morning to catch up with my Art Quilt group Serge Ahead this morning. I was able to get some shots of their Turkish Delight pieces, and I wanted to share them here.

Anne
We were all given a piece of fabric to include in the work, the batik, that is used in the flowers in the piece below.

Sonia
I think it is interesting to see the connection in the designs, and the use of that piece of fabric has meant that they all link in the choice of colour, which will be nice if they are ever exhibited.

Claire
The ladies in this group have had a few successful exhibitions before they asked me to join them, and there are plans for another in the future.

Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, but I was in a rush to get back home for the delivery of  kitchen tiles. (We are on the home stretch!)

Thanks for visiting

Wonderful pieces and nice to have a class where you get a theme and then create your own piece.
