New Fabric

I have been making some new fabrics to use as samples at a demonstration that I will be going at a Quilter Guild day next week.
The demonstration will be on using freezer paper as stencils. I have really enjoyed doing these.
This first one has been done on a piece of hand painted fabric.
This one above and below have been done on some pieces of hand dyed fabric that I dyed years ago. They had been shoved in a cupboard because they were so boring. Little did I know in those days!

There is a lot more texture in this one than the camera shows. I should have played with the image, but time presses on.

  1. Gosh I love freezer paper... it can do so much! Your "complex cloth" is lovely.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I do try to respond to each one but
if you do not hear from me it is probably because you are a "no reply blogger".
