Getting on!

Been in a bit of a lull, but now I am getting back on track.
I haven't been totally lazy. I did this "Seaside Cottage" for my Textile Challenges House Swap. Right up my street this one.

I have also been working on a new kit design, inspired by our recent trip to the Norfolk Broads. Now if I knew how to insert another photo here, I would put one in of some bull rushes that I snapped. But as I don't want it to be at the top of the page, and I can't start all over again I guess I won't do that. If there is anyone out there who does know how to insert a new pic into the middle of a blog post I would love to know (or if there is anyone out there at all who is actually reading this I would love to hear from you too!)
I have also been working on some random rotary cut blocks for my classses in September. I won't be killing myself to get this finished by the start of term as I did last summer, (I stitched my little heart out all through the Olympics!)
I have decided that the class gets too intimidated when I turn up with a finished quilted kit at the beginning of term, and that they will learn more if they see more of the construction process. Do I sound convincing?

Right, I am back in the saddle now, to coin a phrase.

  2. I have jsut started a blog and am a novice - I can't figure out how to make the header to the size I want, but I did discover that I can write the whole post, bring all the pictures in at once. Then I copy and paste them to insert them where I want.

  3. Just upload your pic then drag it into position. Only show the bottom half of the pic before you drag. Hope this makes sense and works!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I do try to respond to each one but
if you do not hear from me it is probably because you are a "no reply blogger".
