We are having some glorious autumn sunshine at the moment, and I think the colours in this quilt top are a bit autumnal although that wasn't the intention when I began it back in the summer.
Random rotary cut curves using hand painted fabrics, resulting in circles with attitude.
The colours look good with the sun shining through them.
To quilt it I bought these variegated King Tut threads at the Festival of Quilts, although I am thinking that the brown looks a bit dark now.
I absolutely love the colors in this quilt! From my perspective on my monitor the colors seem more reminiscent of summer evenings. Perhaps it's just the translation from your camera to my monitor though. I do love the circle patterns. It will be beautiful quilted.
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of sunset colors or moss roses. Very pretty.
