Blue is the colour
It seems appropriate to give this post a football chant as it's title, as you can't escape it at the moment. I know England won't be wearing blue later, but red (which is Wales' colour, so what's that all about?)
Anyway, blue is my colour today, along with turquoise and aqua.
This has been made for an Hawaiian in a Hurry class that I will be giving next year at Busy Bees.
I used up the scraps to make another pennant and edged the corners with some tyvek beads and hand painted thread.

Carrying on with the blue theme, I belong to a group called Serge Ahead and we made some pennants based on the phrase "Birds of a Feather". As the pennant shape is not great to photograph and as I put them on a brown wooden floor which does not look good, I am cropping them to show the detail of the work.
First up is mine,
This one was done by Ann L.
This one by Anne E.
This one by Claire,
And this one by Barbara.
There is one more by Sonia who did a beautiful beaded one depicting angel wings but I didn't get that one in time to photograph so you will have to head over to the Pennants4Patchworkers to see it.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I do try to respond to each one but
if you do not hear from me it is probably because you are a "no reply blogger".
