Disclaimer
I have decided that I should probably write a disclaimer at the bottom of all of my blog post which says something along the lines of " Please take everything you read here with a pinch of salt!" It seems that no sooner do I say that I am going to do something on this blog than the Universe conspires against me to make it otherwise.
So after having written THIS post I now have to hold up my hands and say that I won't be submitting anything to this years Festival of Quilts.
Sketches have been done and fabric has been painted but Life says no and I find that I am not in a position to follow through with it at this time. I won't bore you with the details but sometimes family priorities have to take the lead. I will still be working on the piece/pieces I had planned and who knows... maybe next year or maybe a different show.
I will still be creating, just taking my time and showing acceptance of the situation I find myself in.

What ever it is you are going through I hope things sort themselves out soon and that everything finds its proper place in your life again.
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happens to me more often than I care to think about, so I am prepared for the unexpected and roll with whatever comes around. We just do what we need to do, don't we, family comes first and there's always next year's show. Hope you all pull through whatever it is!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs bb. xo
ReplyDeleteLife does get in the way of our pursuits, but each event just makes us stronger but we learn and become more creative as each moment changes our perspectives and art.
