Acceptance

I told you there would be a Prayer Flag in there somewhere.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments on my last post. I am feeling a bit guilty because I am fine and things are okay, it is just that other commitments have scuppered some of my plans and I felt I needed to explain why I wouldn't be entering FoQ this year. As Radka says "That's life" but it's okay.

And to prove that mindless repetitve quilting is a good way to keep you occupied, (along with BBC Radio 4 Extra- for those Brits who haven't tuned in to the delights of this station, I can recommend it for the great dramas that it airs) here is a finished quilt.

I had so many scraps and sheeting fabric left over from this quilt, that I had to use it up.

I quilted it, and quilted it and I am really happy with the texture.

So much so that you are getting three close up shots!
Anyway, onwards and upwards! 'Till next time!

Glad things are okay.

The quilt is lovely and the quilting really does make a difference in how brilliant it looks. I must try dense quilting some day.

I love the prayer flag, really nice colors and shades.
I need to get in my room and clean up, so I can get to my machine. I tend to tear into my fabrics and then make a mess, need a better way to organize, so I can put things back again;)

Love the Prayer flag - heard a rumour yesterday that you had 'Textile elbow', that should help with the quilting;)

Love the prayer flag
this is the sort of thing I'm wanting to do with the 'tree' project I've just blogged about

I love the texture of this quilt. Some day I'll convince myself to quilt those lines close together over and over and over and over...

Love the Prayer Flag. It's just the inspiration I needed to get myself back in the groove. Thank you for sharing it...acceptance...says a whole lot, and gives great meaning to my feelings of self lately. I am only one person:)
