stitching sunday

I am still plugging away at this, but needed a bit of a change.
Last Saturday I was "on the bill", so to speak, with Angie Hughes, at a Quilt Guild Regional Day
I have always loved her work and it was a treat to see the things she is working on now.
I have done two workshops with Angie in the past, and they rate among the best I have ever taken.

Angie is a machine embroiderer who has done a lot of work on velvet.
Channeling my inner Angie, I am working on black felt, just for fun and thoroughly enjoying myself.

  1. I'm liking the looks of this panel a lots, colours are right up my street - can't wait to see more of it

  2. I too like Angies style.....this looks interesting too!

  3. Really nice background textures and with the added pieces and stitching, this is going to be a beautiful art piece.

  4. Wonderful ! the texture is amazing, love it !

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I do try to respond to each one but
if you do not hear from me it is probably because you are a "no reply blogger".
