This is where it all started for me but times change and now all of my blogging takes place over at my
Quilt Routes blog and I hope you will join me over there.

Proof, if it were needed...

...that spring is later this year. I have shared photos of my Clematis Montana before, a whole month earlier
in April.

I have been trying/hoping that it would to trail over the back wall but it has a mind of it's own!
I have promised that after flowering I will prune it this year...

...but until then I am enjoying it in all it's glory right outside my shed/workspace door.

  1. Beautiful flowers, love seeing everything in bloom.

  2. Hi Deborah! I really enjoy your blog and have nominated you for the Sunshine Award. If you’re interested in participating, follow this link back to my blog page to see the rules...

  3. What a glorious plant to have right outside your work space. Love clematis.

  4. how beautiful - i can't grow these at all - i've tried heaps of times - the only one laughing is the nursery man!...and it's coming on for winter here so not a lot is blooming!

  5. I always cut off those wayward tendrils with no harm normally done.
But last year I thinned out my montana at years end and blow me, its taken a huff and has only flowered here and there this year lol so my advice?
just cut back the airbourne tendrils lolol

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I do try to respond to each one but
if you do not hear from me it is probably because you are a "no reply blogger".
